Over the last few weeks I’ve been thinking about how to expand the Magic Hour which has been going for almost a year now. Each week lots of fabulous people have come together to share this quiet creative space. Novels have been finished, books have been read and research has been done, application forms have been completed, poems have come into being and drawings and jumpers have been made – along with so much more.

I personally get so much out of Magic Hour and have loved seeing how the space is evolving. Links are often shared among the group for residencies, funding and other opportunities, as are links to interesting writing and art and podcasts. The other thing that gets shared is our artistic wins and struggles. It’s a space that is both reassuring and motivating.

Ceremonial changing of the (journal) guard today as I move to a new morning pages book. I pulled a card for the new journal and let me tell you, it was crazily apt!
